Job Description

Woolworths is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Grocery Merchandiser to join our dynamic team in the Mount Isa region. This role is perfect for individuals who are eager to learn, possess a keen eye for detail, and enjoy being on the go. As a Grocery Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are well-stocked, visually appealing, and organized to maximize sales and customer satisfaction. Travel is an integral part of this role, as you will be responsible for merchandising across various Woolworths stores within a designated territory. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with no prior experience to enter the fast-paced world of retail merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising plans and strategies to ensure optimal product placement and presentation.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate products, and replenish shelves to maintain a full and appealing display.
- Implement promotional displays and signage accurately and on time.
- Ensure products are correctly priced and labeled according to company standards.
- Collect and report on product data, competitor activities, and stock issues.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with in-store management and staff.
- Travel regularly between Woolworths store locations within the Mount Isa area to complete merchandising tasks.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols.
