Job Description
Join the vibrant team at Quest Dubbo as a Hotel Porter/Bellhop! We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to be the welcoming face of our establishment. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, assisting with luggage, directing them to their rooms, and ensuring their stay starts and ends smoothly. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, creating a positive first and last impression.
- Assist guests with luggage handling, including loading and unloading from vehicles and transporting to rooms.
- Escort guests to their rooms, explaining hotel facilities and room features.
- Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, dining options, and transportation.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, escalating issues as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby, entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Assist with minor guest requests such as delivering amenities or messages.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- A friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is an advantage.
- Knowledge of the Dubbo area and local attractions.
- Valid driver's license (optional, but a plus for potential valet services).
