Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic backpacker looking for your 88-day sign-off work in a vibrant agricultural setting? Costa Group is seeking motivated Fruit Pickers to join our team in Renmark, South Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors, gain valuable experience, and fulfill your visa requirements while enjoying the beautiful Riverland region.
Key Responsibilities
- Harvesting various types of fruit according to quality standards and picking techniques.
- Working efficiently to meet daily picking targets.
- Carefully handling produce to prevent damage.
- Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations on the farm.
- Working effectively as part of a team in an outdoor environment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina for demanding outdoor work.
- Ability to work long hours, sometimes in varying weather conditions.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in fruit picking or farm work is a bonus, but not essential.
- Valid driver's license and access to transport.
- Current working holiday visa (subclass 417 or 462).
