Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and physically fit Pallet Repairer to join our team in Geraldton. This is a manual role crucial to our operations, involving the inspection, sorting, and repair of wooden pallets. As a Pallet Repairer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our pallet pool, contributing to the smooth flow of goods for our clients. Key Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming pallets for damage and quality defects.
- Sort pallets based on condition (repairable, scrap, good to go).
- Manually repair wooden pallets using various hand and power tools (e.g., hammers, nail guns, saws).
- Replace damaged boards, stringers, and blocks according to CHEP standards.
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently, including pallet repair equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic manual dexterity and coordination.
- Strong commitment to safety and following workplace procedures.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or manual labor environment.
