Job Description
Join our dedicated hotel services team as a Laundry Attendant on a casual day roster. This vital role ensures the consistent availability of clean, fresh linens and uniforms, contributing significantly to our guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. We are looking for an organized, reliable, and detail-oriented individual eager to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, and fold all hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry according to established procedures.
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and presses, safely and efficiently.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report stock levels to ensure continuous operation.
- Inspect laundered items for cleanliness and damage, reporting any issues to supervision.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards within the laundry department.
- Assist with inventory counts and organization of linen storage areas.
- Handle guest laundry with care and ensure timely return.
Required Skills
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move heavy linen carts.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of English for communication and safety instructions.

- Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting.
