Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Information Clerk to join our Healthcare & Wellness team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Australia, particularly from Port Pirie, South Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing critical information, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting various administrative functions to maintain the smooth operation of our healthcare services. You will play a vital role in maintaining patient records, processing health claims information, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update electronic and physical patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process incoming and outgoing healthcare-related information, including claims, referrals, and medical reports.
  • Respond to inquiries from internal departments and external partners regarding information requests.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and databases, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
  • Assist with data entry tasks and ensure data integrity across all platforms.
  • Adhere to all Bupa policies, procedures, and relevant healthcare privacy regulations (e.g., Australian Privacy Principles).
  • Prepare reports and summaries as required by management or other departments.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
