Job Description
Join our Port Hedland team as a Component Packer in a clean, state-of-the-art indoor environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack a variety of components into appropriate containers according to specifications.
- Inspect components for quality and ensure they are free from damage before packaging.
- Label packages correctly with part numbers, quantities, and destination information.
- Operate basic packaging machinery and tools as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of packed components.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily packing targets and ensure smooth workflow.
- Report any discrepancies or quality issues to the supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a clean, indoor industrial environment.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counts.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting (up to 15kg), and repetitive tasks.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a packing, warehousing, or manufacturing role.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Valid forklift license or experience operating pallet jacks.
