Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Swimming Pool Technician to join our growing team in Echuca. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the regular maintenance, servicing, and repair of residential and commercial swimming pools and spas. You will ensure our clients’ pools are clean, safe, and fully operational, providing expert advice and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine water testing and chemical balancing.
  • Conduct equipment inspections, diagnostics, and repairs (pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators).
  • Clean pools and spas, including vacuuming, brushing, and skimming.
  • Install new pool equipment and conduct minor plumbing adjustments.
  • Educate clients on proper pool maintenance and chemical usage.
  • Maintain accurate service records and manage inventory for parts and chemicals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and company procedures.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in swimming pool maintenance and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of pool chemistry and water balancing.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot pool equipment issues.
  • Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid Australian Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a daily route efficiently.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Certificate III in Swimming Pool and Spa Service).
  • Experience with various types and brands of pool equipment.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Experience using field service management software.
