Job Description

GHD is seeking a dedicated Government Environmental Support professional with a strong ‘Green Focus’ to join our team in Bunbury. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to government projects, focusing on environmental compliance, data management, and the implementation of sustainable practices. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of environmental reports, assessments, and documentation for government projects.
- Collect, manage, and analyze environmental data to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Support the coordination of environmental initiatives and programs, including community engagement activities.
- Liaise with government stakeholders, project managers, and external consultants to facilitate effective environmental management.
- Conduct site visits and inspections as required to monitor environmental conditions and project adherence.
- Contribute to the development and review of environmental policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the environmental team, including scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Australian environmental regulations and policies.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and report writing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a support role within a government or environmental consultancy setting.

- Current Australian driver's license.
