Job Description

Live Nation Australia is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for a Backstage Crew (Trainee) position to support our theatre and concert productions in Geelong. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, exciting environment. As a Trainee, you will learn the essential skills required for stage production, working closely with experienced professionals during evening and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior crew members with the setup and strike of stages, sets, lighting, and sound equipment for various productions.
  • Learn to operate basic technical equipment under direct supervision.
  • Manage and organize props, scenery, and stage equipment efficiently and safely.
  • Ensure all backstage areas adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide support to performers and production staff during rehearsals and live events.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and good working order of all equipment and backstage facilities.
  • Commit to working flexible hours, including evenings, late nights, and weekends, as required by event schedules.

  • Demonstrated physical stamina and the ability to lift and move equipment safely.

  • Current First Aid certification or willingness to obtain one.
