Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Hotel Room Attendants to join our dynamic housekeeping team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking routine work, including students and backpackers, to gain valuable experience in a premium hospitality setting. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our guest rooms, ensuring a consistently high standard of hygiene and comfort for all visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service guest rooms and bathrooms according to established standards and procedures.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and dust furniture.
- Empty trash and remove soiled linen.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a polite and efficient manner.
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors and common areas as required.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move items as needed.
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a cleaning or hospitality role is an advantage, but not essential.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Current first aid certificate (optional).
