Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Shredding Machine Operator to join our team in Bradfordville, Goulburn. This is a secure data role where you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of industrial shredding equipment, ensuring the confidential destruction of sensitive documents and media. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in information security without prior experience. Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial shredding machines according to established safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Load and unload materials (paper, hard drives, electronic media) for destruction.
- Ensure complete and confidential destruction of all materials.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting on equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Accurately record volumes and types of materials shredded.
- Adhere strictly to all company security and confidentiality policies.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to security.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 25kg regularly.
- Reliable and punctual work ethic.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for operating machinery.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a warehouse or industrial setting (advantageous but not required).
