Job Description

Spotless Facility Services is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Public Area Cleaners in Bundaberg. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of various public and common areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and safety for all occupants and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks in designated public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and procedures.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns promptly to supervision.
- Ensure cleaning supplies are adequately stocked and used efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Basic communication skills in English to understand instructions and report issues.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- A current Queensland Driver's License.
- Basic understanding of COSHH or similar workplace safety regulations (training provided).
