Job Description
Join AACo as an Entry-Level Station Hand in Stanthorpe and embark on a rewarding career in Australian agriculture. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals with little to no prior experience to learn the fundamental skills of station life. We provide a supportive environment where you will gain hands-on experience in animal husbandry, property maintenance, and general ranch operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily livestock handling, including cattle mustering, yard work, and feeding.
- Learn and apply basic animal health practices under supervision.
- Participate in fencing repairs and construction, ensuring property boundaries are secure.
- Operate and maintain a variety of farm machinery and equipment (e.g., tractors, quad bikes).
- Undertake general property maintenance tasks, including watering, weed control, and infrastructure upkeep.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in station facilities and communal areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and animal welfare standards.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive station environment.
