Job Description

No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive paid training to equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to NDIS participants, empowering them to achieve their personal goals.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks, as per individual care plans.
- Facilitate community access and participation, accompanying participants to appointments, social activities, and recreational outings.
- Administer medication in accordance with training and policy, where required.
- Maintain accurate and timely client records and reports.
- Promote independence, choice, and control for NDIS participants.
- Adhere to all NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework guidelines and organisational policies.
Required Skills
- Genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Current Australian Driver's License and reliable transport (essential for client visits).
- Ability to undergo and pass a National Police Check and Working With Vulnerable People Check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Experience with diverse cultural backgrounds.
