Job Description
Are you an analytical thinker with a passion for data and a desire to kick-start your career in business insights? PwC Australia is seeking a motivated Business Insights Assistant to join our dynamic team. This 100% remote position offers an incredible opportunity for career progression, allowing you to develop a strong foundation in data analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations from anywhere in Australia. You will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting our clients and internal teams in making informed business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and valuable business insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using various business intelligence (BI) tools.
- Support senior analysts and consultants in preparing presentations and recommendations for clients.
- Assist in the interpretation of data results and translate complex findings into clear, concise language.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant insights.
- Continuously learn and apply new analytical techniques and tools to enhance insight delivery.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
- Foundational understanding of data analysis principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense
- Experience with SQL or other database query languages
- Exposure to statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python)
