Job Description

As a Courier Runner, you’ll be responsible for picking up and delivering food orders and other items from local businesses to customers efficiently and professionally. This role requires excellent time management, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing great service. Key Responsibilities
- Pick up food and other items from partner restaurants and stores in a timely manner.
- Deliver orders safely and efficiently to customers' designated locations.
- Verify order accuracy and customer details before delivery.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service.
- Utilize the Uber Eats app effectively for navigation, order management, and communication.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Manage your schedule and availability through the Uber Eats platform.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (car or motorbike, depending on preferred mode of transport)
- Access to a reliable vehicle (car, scooter, or bicycle) in good working condition
- Smartphone with data plan
- Ability to lift and carry delivery bags (up to 10 kg)
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with Maroochydore and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Punctual and reliable
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service roles
- Knowledge of local routes and shortcuts in Maroochydore, QLD
- Positive attitude and a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work during peak hours (evenings and weekends)
