Job Description
Join Toll Group as a Casual Truck Offsider in Swan Hill! This role offers casual day shifts and is perfect for individuals seeking flexible work with a national logistics leader. As an Offsider, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and securing of freight, supporting our drivers and ensuring timely deliveries. This is a hands-on position requiring physical fitness, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist truck drivers with the safe and efficient loading and unloading of various types of freight.
- Secure loads appropriately using straps, chains, and other equipment to prevent movement during transit.
- Verify consignment details against manifests and delivery notes.
- Perform general yard duties and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, dispatch, and customers.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including manual handling guidelines.
- Assist with basic vehicle checks and report any issues or damage.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform heavy manual handling and lift items up to 25kg repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent team player with good communication skills.

- Ability to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a logistics, warehousing, or similar manual labour role.
