As a Cadet Surveyor, you will embark on an exciting journey, working alongside experienced professionals on a variety of projects. This full-time role is designed to provide you with foundational knowledge and practical skills through direct field experience and structured mentorship. You will learn the intricacies of surveying, from initial data collection to final analysis, contributing to critical infrastructure and development projects across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior surveyors in conducting various types of land surveys, including topographical, boundary, and construction surveys.
- Operate and maintain a range of surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, and laser scanners.
- Collect, record, and process survey data accurately and efficiently.
- Perform field calculations and measurements under supervision.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on-site.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits, contributing to planning and execution discussions.
- Maintain clear and concise field notes and documentation.
- Undertake continuous learning and professional development activities as part of the mentorship program.
