Job Description
Are you a cycling enthusiast with a burning passion for bikes but no formal mechanic experience? Giant Geelong is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Bicycle Mechanic Trainee to join our vibrant team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who are eager to learn, possess a strong mechanical aptitude, and dream of turning their love for bikes into a career. Key Responsibilities
- Learn and perform basic bicycle assembly, tune-ups, and repairs under supervision.
- Assist senior mechanics with more complex diagnostics and overhauls.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.
- Help manage inventory of parts and tools.
- Shadow and learn customer service best practices related to bicycle repairs and maintenance.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and workshop procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable passion for bicycles and cycling.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
