Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-time Storesperson to join our team in Mount Gambier. This role involves working day shifts in a busy warehouse/stores environment, typical of a ‘Wetherill Park’ style industrial area known for its dynamic logistics operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to inventory management, dispatch, and receiving goods, ensuring the smooth flow of operations. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods accurately, verifying against purchase orders.
- Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock takes and system updates.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (where licensed and authorized).
- Organise and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational targets are met.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Forklift Licence (LF Class).
- Previous experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Understanding of safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
- Experience with part-time work schedules.
