Job Description
Are you looking to kickstart your career in manufacturing? Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team in Armidale as Canning Line Operators. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the ropes of a fast-paced production environment, with comprehensive training provided. You’ll be an integral part of our team, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our canning lines, contributing directly to bringing our beloved beverages to market. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor canning machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Perform quality checks on products and packaging throughout the canning process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict hygiene and safety standards.
- Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including food safety and occupational health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic communication skills (written and verbal).
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 15kg.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production setting (even if not canning-specific).
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
