Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Social Media Moderators and Support staff to join our dynamic digital team. This is a part-time, remote position perfectly suited for students or anyone looking for flexible work without voice interaction. You will be instrumental in maintaining a positive and engaging online environment across our various social media platforms, ensuring community guidelines are upheld and user inquiries are addressed efficiently through text-based communication. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor social media channels for content that violates community guidelines, terms of service, or legal regulations.
- Engage with users by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional, and brand-consistent manner.
- Identify and escalate complex issues or sensitive content to appropriate internal teams.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of FAQs and standard response templates.
- Track and report on key metrics related to moderation activities and community engagement.
- Collaborate with content and marketing teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice.
- Stay informed on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and community management best practices.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written communication and grammar skills in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle nuances in online conversations.
- Proficiency in using major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or controversial content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in social media moderation, community management, or online customer support (non-voice).
- Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
- An understanding of digital media ethics and online safety principles.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Journalism, IT).
