Job Description
MSS Security is seeking a motivated and vigilant Entry-Level Site Security Marshall to join our team in Murray Bridge. This full-time, on-site position primarily involves night work, providing essential security services to maintain a safe and secure environment for our client’s premises. As an Entry-Level Marshall, you will receive comprehensive training to develop your skills in surveillance, access control, incident response, and reporting. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas, ensuring the security of the premises.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV cameras, to identify and report any suspicious activities.
- Control access to the site, verifying credentials for all personnel and visitors.
- Respond to alarms and incidents promptly and according to established protocols.
- Document and report all security incidents, irregularities, and maintenance issues.
- Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Provide assistance to staff, visitors, and emergency services as required.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unauthorized activities.
Required Skills
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for night shifts.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and surveillance monitoring.
- Physical fitness to perform duties including prolonged standing, walking, and occasional lifting.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current South Australian Security License (or willingness to obtain one upon employment).
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in customer service or a public-facing role.
- A valid Australian driver's license.
