Job Description
Join Opal HealthCare as an Aged Care Helper and embark on a rewarding career making a real difference in the lives of our residents. This part-time role offers morning shifts, perfect for those seeking flexible work arrangements. No prior experience is required as full comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with all the skills needed to excel. You will work closely with our dedicated team to assist residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care, including showering, dressing, and grooming.
- Support residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Help residents with mealtime assistance and hydration.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment for residents.
- Observe and report any changes in residents' condition or behaviour to the nursing staff.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
