Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our dynamic team, supporting corporate office clients in Tully, QLD. This casual role involves working day shifts, providing essential support to our catering operations, ensuring high standards of food presentation, hygiene, and customer service. You will be an integral part of delivering delightful dining experiences in a professional corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Serve food and beverages to corporate clients and employees with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces.
- Operate dishwashers and assist with washing dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
- Set up and clear down dining areas, meeting rooms, and event spaces.
- Restock food items, beverages, and supplies as required.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food handling regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to client requests promptly.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, or food service role.
- Current Food Safety Certificate (Level 1 or equivalent).

- First Aid certification (desirable).
