Job Description

As a Trade Marketing Coordinator – FMCG in Mount Gambier, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and execution of trade marketing strategies. This role involves close collaboration with sales, marketing, and external partners to drive brand visibility, promotional effectiveness, and sales growth within our retail channels. You will manage promotional materials, conduct market analysis, and ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied at the point of sale, contributing directly to our market presence and commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of trade marketing programs and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate the development, production, and distribution of point-of-sale (POS) materials and merchandising tools.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and promotional effectiveness to provide actionable insights.
  • Liaise with sales teams to ensure effective implementation of trade plans and support their commercial objectives.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets and track expenses for various campaigns.
  • Prepare reports on campaign performance, inventory levels, and market share.
  • Ensure all trade marketing activities comply with brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Support new product launches with relevant trade marketing initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a marketing or sales support role, preferably within FMCG.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with trade marketing software or CRM systems.
  • Understanding of the Australian retail landscape and consumer behavior in the beverage sector.
