Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Paver Maker to join our manufacturing team in Tuggeranong. This immediate opening offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic plant environment, producing high-quality concrete pavers. As a Paver Maker, you will be integral to our production process, operating machinery, mixing materials, and ensuring our products meet Boral’s stringent quality standards. This role is ideal for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready for hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate paver manufacturing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Prepare and mix raw materials (aggregates, cement, water, pigments) according to specifications.
  • Load and unload materials and finished products.
  • Perform quality checks on pavers, ensuring correct dimensions, colour, and finish.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all housekeeping standards.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
  • Assist with general plant maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production targets.

Required Skills

  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 25kg) and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
  • Basic understanding of measurements and quality control.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or factory environment.
  • Current Forklift (LF) Licence.
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • Mechanical aptitude.
