Job Description

Join Australia Post as a VicRoads / Service NSW Officer, providing essential face-to-face customer service in our Dalby branch. This pivotal role involves assisting customers with a broad range of government and postal services, ensuring smooth transactions and high levels of satisfaction. You will be the friendly face of our organisation, helping our community access vital services efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional face-to-face customer service for both government and postal services.
  • Process transactions and inquiries related to VicRoads (e.g., licence renewals, vehicle registrations) and Service NSW (e.g., identity checks, service applications).
  • Handle general postal tasks including mail and parcel sending, banking, and bill payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions using our internal systems.
  • Address customer queries and resolve issues with empathy, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative requirements and company procedures.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming branch environment.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated excellent face-to-face communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle cash and electronic transactions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications
