Job Description
Join the Wide Bay Toyota team as a Casual Car Detailer and play a crucial role in preparing our vehicles for sale and delivery. This position offers consistent morning shifts, Monday to Friday, making it ideal for someone seeking a reliable part-time opportunity. You will be responsible for ensuring all vehicles, both new and used, meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash, clean, and detail both new and used vehicles to showroom standards.
- Perform interior cleaning including vacuuming, shampooing, and surface conditioning.
- Conduct exterior detailing, including waxing, polishing, and tire shining.
- Inspect vehicles for imperfections and address them appropriately.
- Manage and maintain detailing equipment and supplies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and environmental regulations.
- Assist with other ad-hoc tasks as required by the service or sales department.
Required Skills
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently.
- Reliability and punctuality for morning shifts.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate items.
- Basic understanding of automotive cleaning products and techniques.
- Valid Australian driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car detailing or a similar role is an advantage but not essential as training will be provided.
- Familiarity with various detailing tools and machinery.
- An interest in the automotive industry.
