Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and physically fit individual looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in a fast-paced environment? Coles is seeking dedicated Pallet Stackers to join our Mildura distribution centre team. This is a critical hands-on role involving the manual stacking and unstacking of products on pallets, ensuring efficient flow of goods, and maintaining a safe working environment. We offer a top hourly rate for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Stack and unstack products onto pallets in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Operate pallet jacks (manual and electric) to move stacked pallets within the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate product placement and proper rotation of stock.
- Perform general warehouse duties, including tidying and maintaining a clean work area.
- Identify and report any damaged products or equipment malfunctions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating manual and/or electric pallet jacks.
- Knowledge of manual handling best practices.
