Job Description

Are you a highly motivated and physically fit individual looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in a fast-paced environment? Coles is seeking dedicated Pallet Stackers to join our Mildura distribution centre team. This is a critical hands-on role involving the manual stacking and unstacking of products on pallets, ensuring efficient flow of goods, and maintaining a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Manually load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
  • Stack and unstack products onto pallets in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety guidelines.
  • Operate pallet jacks (manual and electric) to move stacked pallets within the warehouse.
  • Ensure accurate product placement and proper rotation of stock.
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including tidying and maintaining a clean work area.
  • Identify and report any damaged products or equipment malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets.

Required Skills

  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Experience operating manual and/or electric pallet jacks.
  • Knowledge of manual handling best practices.
