Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and reliable Casual General Labourers to join our team in Joondalup for immediate start. This role offers excellent opportunities for ongoing work for the right candidates, with the convenience of weekly pay. As a General Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting various projects, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. If you’re physically fit, eager to work, and ready to contribute to significant infrastructure projects, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labour tasks, including lifting, carrying, digging, and moving materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Follow all safety procedures and site-specific instructions diligently.
- Assist with site setup and pack-down.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety principles.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) – essential for all construction sites in Australia.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a general labour or construction environment.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience with basic power tools and equipment.
