Job Description
We’re looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Social Media Moderator & Support specialist. This is a unique opportunity perfectly suited for students, offering flexible hours and 100% remote work. In this role, you will be crucial in maintaining a positive and engaging online presence for Kogan.com across various social media platforms. Your primary focus will be on text-based moderation and support, ensuring our community guidelines are upheld, and customer inquiries are addressed promptly and effectively. Importantly, this role involves NO voice work, making it ideal for those who excel in written communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and moderate user-generated content across all Kogan.com social media channels, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and company policies.
- Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely, professional, and brand-consistent manner.
- Identify and escalate complex customer service issues or brand reputation risks to the appropriate internal teams.
- Proactively engage with our online community to foster positive interactions and build brand loyalty.
- Support the content team by identifying trending topics and user feedback.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Kogan.com products and services to provide accurate information.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written communication and grammar skills in English.
- Proficiency with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address inappropriate content.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to de-escalate online situations.
- Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in online community management, social media moderation, or text-based customer support.
