Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive WFH HR Coordinator to provide essential onboarding and administrative support to our HR team. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience for all new hires and maintaining efficient HR operations. You will be instrumental in coordinating onboarding activities, managing HR data, and providing administrative assistance across various HR functions within a remote-first environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new employees, including sending offer letters, collecting necessary documentation, and conducting orientation sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other databases.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR-related correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support HR team members with various administrative tasks, project coordination, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate offboarding processes, including exit interviews and final documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment and access for remote work.

Required Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience (2+ years) in an HR administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a remote setting.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Understanding of Australian employment law and HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with remote collaboration tools.
