Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a WFH Data Verification Specialist, with a primary focus on finance and credit data. This is a crucial remote role responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial and credit-related information within our systems. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining the high standards of data quality that underpin our decision-making processes and regulatory compliance. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility while contributing to a leading financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and validate financial and credit data from various sources against established criteria.
- Identify and correct discrepancies, errors, and omissions in datasets related to customer accounts, transactions, and credit applications.
- Perform regular data audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Credit, Compliance, Operations) to resolve complex data issues.
- Maintain accurate records of all verification activities and data corrections.
- Assist in the development and improvement of data verification processes and tools.
- Adhere strictly to data privacy and security protocols.
- Generate reports on data quality metrics and verification progress.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in data entry and data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and database systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
