Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented WFH Data Manager – Technical & Admin Hybrid to join our dynamic team. This role is 100% remote and will play a critical part in managing and optimising our data infrastructure and processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the integrity, accessibility, and security of our data, while also providing technical support and administrative coordination for various data-related projects. This hybrid role requires a strong understanding of data management principles, excellent technical aptitude, and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. You will contribute to our data-driven culture by ensuring high-quality data is available for analysis and reporting, supporting key business functions across our global operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust data management policies and procedures.
- Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and lead initiatives for data cleansing and enrichment.
- Manage and administer various data systems and databases, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Provide technical support for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to define data requirements and develop data solutions.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, processes, and systems.
- Coordinate and support data governance activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Train and support end-users on data tools and best practices.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track data quality metrics and project progress.
- Perform administrative tasks related to data project timelines, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend).
- Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google Cloud Dataflow).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Project management experience in a data-centric environment.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation.
