Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive WFH Cloud Support Associate with a strong focus on AWS and Azure to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Australia, though preference is given to candidates based in Queensland for potential future collaboration opportunities or local team events (fully optional). You will be instrumental in providing critical technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to our cloud infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of both AWS and Azure platforms, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires a self-starter who can manage their workload effectively in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for AWS and Azure cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to cloud services, virtual machines, networking, storage, and security.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and proactively identify potential issues.
- Assist clients with incident management, service requests, and problem resolution.
- Document technical solutions, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required to ensure 24/7 support coverage.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS and Azure services and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an IT support role with a focus on cloud platforms.
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch).
- Proven experience with Azure services (Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage Accounts, Azure AD, Monitor).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate.
- Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management tools.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
