Job Description
Join Adelaide Turf as a dedicated Turf Farm Labourer! This ongoing, full-time position offers an active outdoor role within our dynamic team in Largs Bay. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who are keen to contribute to the cultivation and maintenance of high-quality turf. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general farm duties including planting, mowing, fertilizing, and harvesting turf.
- Operate various farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., tractors, mowers, forklifts – training provided).
- Assist with irrigation system setup, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Carry out manual labour tasks such as weeding, clearing debris, and preparing ground.
- Load and unload turf rolls for delivery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and workplace health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the farm, equipment, and work areas.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous outdoor work.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Punctuality and commitment to regular attendance.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
