Job Description
We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as a Temporary Fence Erector. This is an immediate start opportunity, perfect for someone who enjoys outdoor work and is ready to get hands-on. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation and dismantling of temporary fencing at various sites across Hervey Bay. No prior experience is required, as on-the-job training will be provided, but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential. This role involves physical labour in various weather conditions, so good physical fitness is a must. Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload fencing materials from vehicles.
- Install temporary fencing panels and gates according to site plans and safety guidelines.
- Dig post holes and secure fence posts.
- Maintain a clean and organised work site.
- Dismantle temporary fencing upon project completion.
- Follow all company safety procedures and regulations.
- Assist team members with various tasks as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of hand tools.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to follow instructions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labour or construction.
- Current valid Australian driver's license.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
