Job Description
Join the Woolworths Group team as a Stock Picker in our bustling retail warehouse in Grafton, New South Wales. We’re looking for an energetic and reliable individual to play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch to our stores. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where efficiency and attention to detail are key. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified procedures and targets.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Perform quality checks on picked items to ensure accuracy and prevent damage.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks as required.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets accurately.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 20kg repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail stock management role.
- Forklift licence (advantageous, but not essential – training can be provided).
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- A team player with excellent communication skills.
