Job Description

Join the dynamic team at BIG4 Renmark Riverfront Holiday Park as a Resort Activities Helper! This summer job is perfect for enthusiastic individuals eager to contribute to a fun and engaging holiday atmosphere for our guests. You’ll be instrumental in creating memorable moments, assisting with a variety of activities, and ensuring everyone has a fantastic time by the Murray River. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and running of daily resort activities, including kids' clubs, sports games, craft sessions, and evening entertainment.
- Actively engage with guests of all ages, promoting a friendly, inclusive, and exciting environment.
- Prepare and set up activity areas and equipment, ensuring everything is ready for guest participation.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards for all activity spaces and equipment.
- Provide accurate information about resort amenities, local attractions, and activity schedules.
- Support the main Activities Coordinator with administrative tasks and event logistics as required.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance guest experience and personal development.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- High level of enthusiasm, energy, and a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in activity preparation.
- A genuine passion for working with people and creating memorable holiday experiences.
- Reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays, throughout the summer season.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, tourism, or customer service roles.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working with children or leading group activities.
- A valid Australian Driver's License.
