Job Description
Seeking a talented and self-driven Remote Web Designer to join our dynamic team, specializing in boutique projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-class agency from the comfort of your home. You will be instrumental in crafting visually stunning and highly functional websites for a diverse range of clients, ensuring an exceptional user experience that aligns with our brand’s innovative spirit. This role is 100% remote and offers significant flexibility, allowing you to balance work and life effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive, user-friendly websites and web applications.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to communicate design concepts.
- Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve designs.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and industry best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends, techniques, and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript principles.
- Proven experience in responsive and adaptive design.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A portfolio demonstrating strong web design capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with animation tools (e.g., After Effects) or motion graphics.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Degree or diploma in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
