Job Description
Join the Coles team in Lismore as a Night Shift Packer and play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are stocked and ready for our customers. This part-time position offers consistent hours during the night, perfect for those seeking to balance work with other commitments. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently packing merchandise, maintaining a tidy workspace, and contributing to a positive team environment. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently pack merchandise onto pallets or into trolleys according to store layout plans.
- Operate pallet jacks or other manual handling equipment safely and effectively (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with stock rotation and inventory management as required.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily packing targets.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including WHS guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced night shift environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move merchandise (up to 15-20kg).
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or packing environment.
- Experience operating a pallet jack or similar equipment.
- Current forklift license (desirable but not essential).
