Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Night Porter to join our team at Rydges Fremantle. This role is perfect for individuals who appreciate a calmer working environment and thrive during the night hours. As a Night Porter, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests overnight. You will manage late check-ins/check-outs, address guest inquiries, and perform light administrative and security duties, all while maintaining our high standards of service. We offer premium night rates for this essential position, valuing the unique contribution of our overnight staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage late-night guest arrivals and departures efficiently and courteously.
- Conduct regular security patrols of the hotel premises, ensuring all entry points are secured.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all guest requests and emergencies during the night shift.
- Handle guest complaints or issues with discretion and escalate to management when necessary.
- Prepare daily reports, including incident logs and occupancy updates.
- Perform light cleaning tasks and ensure common areas are presentable.
- Assist with setting up breakfast service areas as required.
- Monitor CCTV systems and fire alarm panels, responding appropriately to alerts.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations overnight.
