Job Description

Join Costa Group as a Mushroom Picker in our state-of-the-art indoor farm in Townsville. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals seeking stable, year-round employment in a controlled environment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for carefully harvesting mushrooms, ensuring they meet our strict quality standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Harvest mushrooms daily according to specific picking guidelines and quality standards.
  • Identify and report any issues with mushroom growth or quality to supervisors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area within the farm.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
  • Assist with sorting, packing, and preparing mushrooms for distribution as needed.
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
