Job Description
Join the Woolworths Wodonga team as a Morning Stockist and play a crucial role in ensuring our shelves are well-stocked and visually appealing for our customers. This casual position offers flexible morning shifts, perfect for those looking to balance work with other commitments. You’ll be responsible for receiving, organizing, and displaying merchandise, contributing to a positive shopping experience from the moment our doors open.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload deliveries efficiently and safely.
- Organize and rotate stock on shelves according to store planograms and freshness guidelines.
- Ensure products are clearly priced and displayed attractively.
- Maintain a clean and organized backroom and sales floor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock control procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily stocking targets.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliability and punctuality for early morning shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Commitment to excellent customer service, even in a non-customer-facing role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with stock rotation and merchandising principles.
- Current forklift license (desirable, but not essential).
