Job Description

Encore Event Technologies is seeking a motivated Marquee Rigger Helper to join our dedicated team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a desire to contribute to the creation of stunning event spaces. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, assisting with the setup and dismantling of complex marquee structures and event rigging, ensuring safety and precision. Weekly pay ensures you’re rewarded regularly for your hard work and commitment in a fast-paced, exciting environment. No prior rigging experience is necessary – we’re looking for enthusiasm and a can-do attitude!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior riggers and technicians in the safe and efficient installation and dismantling of marquee structures and associated rigging equipment.
- Help with loading and unloading equipment from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Perform general site labor as directed, including site preparation and cleanup.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including working at heights and manual handling procedures.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any defects or issues.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues.
- Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Adapt to varying work schedules, including early mornings, late nights, and weekends as required by event schedules.

- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- First Aid certification.
