Job Description

Are you a highly motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for retail operations? Tesco is seeking an Inventory Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team in Ipswich. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting inventory data to identify trends and discrepancies.

  • Help monitor stock levels, sales forecasts, and replenishment cycles to optimize product availability.
  • Collaborate with store teams and supply chain departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on inventory performance and key metrics for management review.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects related to stock control, waste reduction, and process improvement.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
  • A strong interest in retail operations and supply chain management.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of statistical analysis principles.
