Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care (showering, dressing), mobility, and medication reminders.
- Provide domestic assistance such as light household duties, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities and community outings.
- Transport clients to appointments and social engagements, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Accurately document services provided and report any changes in client condition or concerns to supervisors.
- Adhere to all care plans, policies, and procedures to ensure the highest standard of client care.
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment for clients in their homes.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine desire to help and care for others.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to undertake and successfully complete paid training.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or support role.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation purposes.
- Understanding of cultural diversity and sensitivity in service delivery.
