Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and reliable Graphic Finisher to join our production team on a casual day roster. This role is essential for ensuring the highest quality finish on all our signage products, from vinyl graphics to large-format prints. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and thrive in a fast-paced workshop environment, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise trimming, weeding, and laminating of various vinyl and printed graphic materials.
- Mount graphics onto a variety of substrates including Corflute, ACM, and PVC.
- Operate and maintain finishing equipment such as laminators, guillotines, and plotters.
- Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure all finished products meet company standards.
- Prepare finished signs for dispatch, including packing and labelling.
- Assist with general workshop duties, maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily deadlines and project requirements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in graphic finishing, ideally within the signage or printing industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to interpret job dockets and follow precise instructions.
- Understanding of various signage materials and their handling.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer literacy for job tracking and data entry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift license (LF class).
- Experience operating large-format laminators and cutters.
- Prior experience with vehicle wraps or complex graphic applications.
- Relevant trade qualification in graphic arts or print finishing.
